Mailing lists are a
great way to easily contact several, or many, people with one e-mail. Use them to make announcements, form a discussion
group, alert a service group, advise of specials, contact students, or conduct a customer survey. Everyone's e-mail
address is hidden, keeping the list private and secure.
Bonus: Your mailing list is securely
stored and backed up.
Use this form to test
the Discovery Speed
e-mail list server. Please provide an accurate e-mail
address. Type it carefully, or the test won't work. A form similar to this can be provided for your mailing list.
It can be hosted by us, or placed on your website.
This is an example of a "Public" list (see below). Subscribing is a two step process:
1. Fill out and submit this form.
We will send an automatic response to the e-mail address that you provide.
This step ensures that the e-mail
address is valid. (Step 1 can be completed by anyone for any e-mail address. This allows the list moderator to
"invite" others to subscribe.)
2. Check your e-mail and reply
to the automated response. We will then send a "welcome to the list" message.
This step ensures that the person
at the e-mail address actually wants to be on the list. It prevents others from signing that person up without
his or her knowledge.
